Sambal sotong


400g squids sliced

To grind:
Chilli paste 1tbs
10 shallots
3 garlic
1 slice lengkuas

Seasoning:
2 tbs tomato sauce
1.5 tbs sugar
1 tsp salt
1 tbs assam + 2 tbs water


  1. Heat oil and saute grind ingredients

  2. Add in seasonings, till boil add in sotong

  3. Lastly add in tamarind juice and stir well, remember not to overcook squids.
